Photography on the Green River

Canoeing and Photography Workshop Utah

October 9 - 15, 2023

For those of you looking to take an active vacation with your camera, look no further!

This 7- day experience is designed for people who want to learn more about photography in a must see destination. You will be supported by Don Mammoser in learning all the tips and tricks to capture the essence of the landscape that surrounds you. In addition Breakwater Expeditions guides will be supporting the expedition and paddling. Breakwater will feed you delicious meals, provide all the camping gear for you to be comfortable, teach you all that you need to know to paddle canoes down river, and support you in having a trip of a lifetime with like minded folks. No experience needed for this experience. We will provide you with a recommended packing list. We will set you up for success in all of these areas!

Our paddle will be down the calm waters of the Green River as it meanders through the Labyrinth Canyon. This section of river is some of Utah's most amazing scenery. We will paddle a 50 plus mile stretch of flat water that will follow the rolling desert hills of eastern Utah into the majestic depths of Labyrinth Canyon. We will travel through the ancient times and history of the landscape as we view the ruins and rock art sites of the Pueblo Indians. Small hikes will get us up close to the red cliffs, desert sunsets, and the warmth of the rocks as we create this memorable experience.
